Information for Manufacturers (Potential Suppliers & Vendors)

Welcome to the Gluten-Free Warehouse. We are an independent distributor specializing in wheat-free, gluten-free, and casein-free food products. We sell directly to commercial customers such as retail stores, restaurants, bakeries, hospitals, residential care facilities, and government agencies. We ship to businesses and institutions throughout the US using common carriers.

Is your product right for Gluten-Free Warehouse? We are always looking for innovative gluten-free products, especially items that offer strong sales potential and exceptional value for our customers. We prefer items that are not widely available from other distributors, with low to moderate price points. Inherently gluten-free items such as nuts, dried fruit, or dairy products are unlikely to be of interest to our customers.

If you produce a gluten-free item that you want us to carry, please contact us and provide a description of the product (please provide as much information as possible, such as pack size, shelf life, allergens the product is free from, and Kosher/organic status). If the item appears to have potential you will be invited to submit product samples, pricing, a product data sheet, and your IRS Form W-9. Items that reach this stage are reviewed by our staff as time permits.

All items must be produced in accordance with relevant state and federal regulations including the food safety code. Every effort must be made to avoid cross-contamination with gluten-containing items. Please note the following additional restrictions:

  • Currently we do not distribute frozen foods.
  • We provide ingredients for home-based bakeries, but we are not allowed to sell bakery items produced in home kitchens. To be considered for distribution by Gluten Free Warehouse, the product must be produced in a licensed commercial kitchen. This issue is regulated at the state level. Some states have "cottage industry" laws that allow the sale of home-baked goods, but Wisconsin does not allow this. As a result, we cannot resell home-baked products produced in other states.
  • We are not licensed for wholesale distribution of alcoholic beverages.
  • All products must be packaged and labeled in accordance with US FDA requirements. Ingredients and preparation instructions in American English must be provided. Small producer exemptions from Nutrition Facts labeling will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Vendors based outside the United States may be subject to additional restrictions imposed by FDA, USDA and Homeland Security.

Terms of Purchase. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all suppliers are paid Net 30 based on the date the merchandise arrives at our warehouse.
